newbie from Maine

Hi Everyone,
i am a very interested lurker at this point, i was a welder
for 10 years, i am now a commercial photographer.
I live on 50 acres on a dead end road in Maine about 45 min.
nw of Portland. No lack of wood here.
I think i am interested in building the woody possibly as
a first project. My brother is an automation engineer and
he can help me as well. The addition of steam is interesting
as well. Any body else around in the New England area?

Welcome to the community, Randy. I've been in the fabrication industry for 15 years now, 8 as a tool and die maker, 4 as a Boilermaker, and 3 as a welder/supervisor. It's good to see another welder. I'm new to all of this too. I've been kicking around alot of ideas and I think I've finally settled on one. I'm starting fabrication on it this weekend and I should have some pictures on my page next week. Good luck and welcome aboard.
