Biomass gasification mostly produces CO so I am not sure how would you refine hydrogen out of the mix.

My first two attempts at building a gasifier have failed. The fire was not burning hot enough and all I was producing was water vapor and CO. I am now trying a Fluidyne design and I am moving the fan to the input side of the gasifier hoping this will increase the temperature at the fire zone location.

I have completed testing of my first attempt of a downdraft stratification gasifier and found that I had air leaks in the reaction area.
