I would recommend that you look into the Fluidyne and Gengas designs. The fluidyne is simple but should give you a very good start. Your choice of fuel stock is going to be a very important part of your equations.
I am a student too. So my expertise is limited, probably as much as your engrish.
Biomass gasification mostly produces CO so I am not sure how would you refine hydrogen out of the mix.
Greetings, I found a book titled “Renewable Energy Sources for Fuel and Electricity” edited by Johansson, Kelly, Reddy, Williams, Burnham. Chapter 16 and 17 covers gasification. Best of luck with your project.
Greetings, all the information I have was obtain by doing a internet search using “wood gas”. There are a lot great videos on youtube as well. My first two attempts at building a gasifier have failed. The fire was not burning hot enough and all I was producing was water vapor and CO. I am now trying a Fluidyne design and I am moving the fan to the input side of the gasifier hoping this will increase the temperature at the fire zone location.
I just was introduced to the gasification but I am familiar with welding water tight canisters aluminum and I have a jetline welder for that similar work and mild steel welding with jetline lathe welder .It needs to run with a 6 program mig welder or weld while it rotates by hand welder mig
Greetings, I am new to gasification. I am a retired electronics engineer. I have completed testing of my first attempt of a downdraft stratification gasifier and found that I had air leaks in the reaction area. I am repairing the leaks and should begin testing again in a few days. I am not sure how much help I would be but I would happy to communicate with you about your project. Best Regards
