We have some guys up here in WI that built the fema tar producer as well. They fiquered to that just feed the thing what it needs in pellets. They are running the open core though, so less chance of steam. Seems like you can auto feed these things easy enough, the trick is getting the slag out. They have been trying all sorts of material as well. I took them some different pellets made from a variety of things to try. Slag, Slag, Slag! Some one got a way to make an auto discharge grate to handle that?

Thanks for sharing your photos!.....I have been following you and you Minifier for some time now, that thing is so cool (as the kids say)...Looks like something i need to build for my garden tiller if you don't mind?
