Jack, just found this site also. I have a ford f250 1984 with a small v8 and fifty acres in western KY. The ice storm this spring was a real wakeup call - 18 days without electric, no water from the well. I will be semi retiring from an engineering job this fall and hope to setup an outdoor wood stove, and maybe a gasifier to run a small generator. I have plenty of wood to burn.
Any suggestions on modifying a carburator to run wood gas?
I want to turn my 1990 ford f150 1/2 ton to run on wood gas.
I believe a home powered wood gas generator that is portable and be able to take to ones cabin or use at home incase of an emergency to power the home would be a hot item.
