Alexey, That TT is a fun toy! built it a couple of years ago, and just never bothered posting anything. It has always worked great, even with moisture from compressor, though if I used a homemade small boiler for steam power, the internal electric motor probably wouldn't last very long. with the boiler powered by a burned powered by woodgas, This concept is possibly the cheapest way of making electricity on the smallest scale out there;

How your gasifier project been going?

Started with the second model of our gasifier. We decided to include to it the following things in addition to the current design:

1. Monorator tank for dump fuel
2. Engine exhaust heat recycle to gasifier pyrolysis zone
3. Air preheating in gas outlet
4. Ash auger
5. Easy-to-disassemble junctions and small constructive parts - design-to-disassemble concept
6. Net baffle in monorator and pyrolysis chamber for wood chips.

Will keep you informed about our progress.

Thanks for heads up sounds like you have went through this. I was adding flush ports so I can clean the cooler when needed. But I will work on making cyclone. Does this cyclone have to have clone tip or is that just a fansy look? Could I use pipe in side pipe with clean out at bollom ?

Hey alex great link on the plasma torch! Low temp plasma has the ability to reform tarry woodgas from the simplest gasifier to pure syn-gas with no aditional filtation.
