Gasification Gets TV Series Exposure

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet... I'm interested in this new show called "The Colony" on Tuesdays at 9:00 PM EST @ Discovery. The show premise is simple. If the world breaks down and society is destroyed - how would a group of people survive?

Thoughts on Gasification (so far)...

I'm struck by how this gasifier project has become a metaphor in my life. This single project has been a mechanism not only to measure my own salt, but an incredible mechanism, almost a litmus test, for those around me. Adam, Thanks, Several people have recomended using 5 tuyeres instead of 3. I've just posted a new photo. Please take a look. Note the triangle method that was recomended to Me for finding the hight of the grate and the circumference at the inside of the tuyeres.

I just saw the pictures of your reactor. I guess that hacksaw and hammer is working pretty well for you. That is an outstanding piece of equipment!
